The Institute for Energy Security (IES) seeks skilled professionals who possess diverse knowledge and experience on energy matters, interns with enthusiasm for global energy studies and a willingness to plunge into the ever-changing energy world, and members that will serve as role models for the next generation of energy professionals.

Our permanent staff is divided into several units including research, policy advocacy, operations, communications, finance and administration. IES internship program is hinged on these units and offer diverse learning opportunities to interns, who apply either directly or through our research partners.

Institute for Energy Security (IES) membership which is governed by a code of practice; provides a formal recognition of your skills, achievements and expertise, and places you at the heart of the world’s pre-eminent knowledge sharing network for energy professionals while providing you with access to a trusted source of essential global energy intelligence to help you develop your career or business.
